The chromate passivates the zinc flakes that are only about 0.2 μm thick. The zinc flakes treated by Dacromet equipment have moderate electrical conductivity, and the zinc flakes are stacked on top of each other, overlapping and covering each other to form a multi-layered shielding layer.
